Today we are going to talk about a very important topic. How dangerous is it for the democracy of India in today’s context or how relevant is what Dr. Ambedkar ji was saying in his last speech in the Constituent Assembly in 1950 in today’s context, we are going to discuss about this today. Friends, for this, we are talking about what is the system in the Constitution of India and how it is and in the context of today’s Hindu nation, what is it that is visible, is it possible or not, we are also going to talk about this today friends, that is why before we start today’s context, friends, how relevant is this live session. On 26 January 1950, while adopting the Constitution of India, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar gave his last historical speech in the Constituent Assembly. Many people consider it to be just a formal speech today, but in reality, this speech was a serious warning for the democracy of India. I will look at it from this perspective today and I am going to try to show that perspective to you people as well, friends, because this was a kind of prophecy, how it can be a warning bell for us, according to that, Dr. Ambedkar was speaking, he was a visionary leader, that is why we believe that today we are showing those three points, if the Constitution of India shows these three points, then the three points shown by Dr. Ambedkar were the guidance for the future and today we are going to talk clearly about those three points. If those three points are not adopted, then not only India, but any democracy of any country will not be able to survive. That is our claim. Because we are definitely going to try to coordinate the philosophy of Dr. Ambedkar, the justice in constitutional form, with the justice given in his constitution in his speech. Friends, first of all, today I want to show you our disclaimer. Friends, our aim is only to develop scientific temper and we believe in the crux of scientific temper for a person, rationality, humanity, morality, and for society or social democracy, equity, liberty, fraternity and justice should be there in the social democracy, which Dr. Ambedkar used to talk about an ideal society. We believe that the crux of it is social democracy and the crux of social democracy is equity, liberty and fraternity, today we are going to talk about social democracy under our subject matter. Friends, Dr. Ambedkar talks about social democracy as the foundation of political democracy. We are going to clear this in the same. And friends, we are not in favour of any caste, religion, gender, caste, class or creed. We talk about egalitarian society and we believe in that. Friends, how do we want that? For that, we want the society to be educated critically, if we look at the language of education according to that, then there should be critical and critically conscious education and that person can get agitated, organize and revolt. This is our belief. Friends, this is our disclaimer and our aim is not to hurt anyone . Because this thing on a scientific level is the cross of modern civilization . It is the cross. This is our belief. Friends, now before entering into the subject matter, we want to show once again that our topic for today is why Ambedkar’s 1950 warning still echoes in India in today’s India, that is, why Ambedkar’s 1950 warning still echoes, frightens today’s India. Okay? Why Ambedkar’s 1950 warning still echoes in India today. Even today, why is it so great, what Dr. Ambedkar said in 1950. What is it in today’s context? Why does it keep echoing ? Why does every person quote it? What does it mean? We are going to talk about it . Friends, for this, today we are going to Volume 13. For this , what was the last speech of the Constituent Assembly of Volume 13? We are going to talk about it . Friends, let us try to see this thing in the context of this . Friends, in the speech of 1950, what Dr. Ambedkar first did was that on 26 January 1950, he gave the speech of being a democratic country, that India would be a democratization of the people, by the people for the rule of the people, what did Dr. Ambedkar say? First let’s talk about the demo, this is a democratic system, isn’t it? India lost this means. Doctor Ambedkar says that the democratic country which came into existence earlier, which existed in the form of a republican country since the time of Buddha, had a parliamentary system as well. The Buddhist Bhikku Sangha is considered as a parliamentary democratic system and Doctor Ambedkar believes that a democratic country, India is formed by the people, by the people and for the people, democracy existed for the people even at that time and what would happen to every democratic constitution, the same thought in my mind, the same thought in his mind, what does constitution mean, means will we be able to maintain it and will it lose again this come to my mind and makes me as afraid as the constitution which was a democratic system, which was lost at that time, okay then the doctor says that even now I am afraid, then why does it bother me that the second third to my mind that makes me think of the second thing that I should see in it or this loss worries me and It is not that, it needs no knowledge of democracy, it means that India does not know democracy, it is not there at all, that was a time study, it means that which happens after the solar janapada, okay, we are talking about emperor Ashoka Maurya and doctors and Buddha and thoughts, where it was about 16 January, it was a republic and at that time parliamentary procedure used to be followed, it used to be followed properly, Buddhist Bhikku Sangha used to be followed and there was nothing but parliaments in Buddhism, okay Buddha Buddham Sharanam Sharanam and Dhamam Sharanam Gachhami, their rules regarding seat arrangement, I mean what was there in the Sangha, they had rules regarding seating arrangement, I mean the sing arrangement that was there in the parliament today, the same style, I mean the talk system, that system was there in that Sangha as well and the rulers, rules motions, I mean the rules motions that were followed in those times in riots, whatever is followed in the parliament session today, it used to be followed according to that and there used to be resolution, there used to be talk of quorum, I mean There used to be talk of majority and continuing votes and voting, all these things, that means the system of voting by bullets, the Marxist system comes under Marxism. Okay? But that by ballots, okay, that system existed in that time as well, he is talking about. Okay? And Dr. Ambedkar says that friends, at that time, the thing that existed in today’s era, that thing existed in that time as well, that censor motion regulation, they used to call it judiciary, that means even at that time, the democratic rules of parliamentary procedure were applied by the Buddha to the meeting of the Sangha, that means the democratic rules and norms were used by the Buddha at that time and the Sanghas must have borrowed on the rules of the political assembly function country in that time, that means it was a republican system and the whole democratic exercise used to happen there. Now what Dr. Ambedkar says is that this democratic system in India was lost means the democratic system of that time was lost according to the pace of time, it was lost and we lost it a second time, now the democracy that we got after chasing away the British in 1950, then what did we lose in that second time too, then what did we lose, then this democratic system will be lost, this is their concern, the ranger of democracy giving place to dictatorship means do not know but it is quite possible in India that democracy will form its long news must be regarded this something quite new there is danger democracy giving place to dictatorship means when democracy will end then it will give birth to dictatorship and so it is quite possible for this new democracy , it will form its form but it will give place to dictatorship, when democracy will end then it will move towards dictatorship, this is the concern and there is a landslide danger of the second possibility coming Actually much means that now even for the second time there is a chance that this system may end and it is very important for us to be concerned about this system. People are doing that. And now the game has begun, if we want that democracy should not end, medley in form means form is not just in name but in but also in fact means if we want to save this democracy in a good way, the motto of democracy, democratic norms, in its total form, then what must we do, what should we do, now what is Dr. Ambedkar doing to him, now he is prescribing three things. First thing is that the first thing in my judgement we must is to hold on to certain methods of assessing and social and economic objectives. What Dr. Ambedkar meant was that I want to give a little perspective of the Constitution of India . You will get an idea of what he is talking about. You people will get an idea. See, you can see here that actually Dr. Ambedkar is talking about the way he talks about this, I believe that what is the main thing among these people, for example, the republic, the people of India, having completely reserved themselves to make India a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, and to secure all its citizens, meaning the constitution of India, which is sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic and republican, provides justice to all citizens, meaning justice means social, economic and political justice, and it also talks about liberty, liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship, meaning equality, freedom, and justice, okay, they talk about those things, today we will specifically talk about justice, and in broad terms, liberty, equity, fraternity, we will not go into details, but what is this thing that is across social democracy, okay, liberty, equity and fraternity will come up soon, and justice means social justice, economic justice and We are talking about political justice. Okay? This is the Constitution of India. Now we will take you here again. Now what happens in this is that Dr. Ambedkar is right, we will take you here. Now what happens in this is that the first thing that Dr. Ambedkar is talking about is that his main motto is that the social and economic objectives, this too has to be taken along . The first thing judgment we must do is to hold on to pursuing social and economic objectives. You should underline this. By retaining social and economic objectives it means we must abandon the body. If we will preserve this thing along with the objective and will take forward the social and economic objectives while preserving them, only then we will be able to control the broad method of revolution. We must abandon the method of civil disobedience , that is, the civil disobedience regarding citizens and the method of non-cooperation, this Satyagraha system, this will also be proved to be achieved there because when there is no way left for this method and we will not implement it in a proper manner, then for achieving economic and social objectives there was a great deal of justification for unstitutional method, if we will not be able to fulfil these economic and social objectives or will not arrange for it in the situational method. If we are not able to achieve the economic and social goals by using the situational method, then we will have to adopt the unconventional method or the country will move in that direction. That situational method and if we open the constitutional method and make arrangements in it, if we apply the situational method in it and our country will remain democratic according to that , then we will not give any corner to the situational method and there will be no need for it. What does that bloody revolution mean? That bloody revolution means that the Marxist type of revolution also needs violence and non-violence and the other one, which is Gandhi’s Satyagraha, is also a part of violence, Dr. Ambedkar considers it a part of violence and they are the grammar of N.R. If it remains intact, then it is possible that Dr. Ambedkar gives a warning to the people in the form of Damar Buddha . Okay? That is why we say that as you can see in today’s era, okay, now these constitutional methods that people are using are ending the democratic exercise, ED, CBI are taking action against the political opponents and the democratic exercise is completely vanishing. So what happens with this is that people’s anger will come out, okay? And the main thing is that what is happening with the election commission, that election commission and the whole democratic process, what happens with this is that people are being killed by unsatisfactory methods. So people’s inclination towards unsatisfactory methods can increase, Dr. Ambedkar at the same time. He used to say that you can see that these people like BJP, RSS are imposing Hindi language in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and today this thing is going on and the judiciary and media are being completely controlled. The media has become their sycophant. So this media which we see in the public form is also getting ruined. Like the three four pillars like judiciary, executive, legislature and media, Modi sir is destroying all these four things in whatever form. What is happening with this is that it is forcing people to go towards NRC. This Dr. Ambedkar says that to maintain it is the base for the health, the growth of democracy, what did Buddha mean by saying this, this is what it means, what does it mean that all this is what Ambedkar said, when one feels that the right paths are closed, then one gets a chance to take the path of anger. Due to this, India can see that Dr. Ambedkar, at the same time, in Buddha number one, Dr. Ambedkar, the second number one in the form of Grammar of Anarchy, is also giving this warning according to the second number . Okay? What do you say about Dr. Ambedkar in the warning that the second thing must be done to observe what Jose Mill believed has been given to all who are intended in the maintenance of democracy, namely not to take the liberty of democracy’s feet, meaning if democracy has to be protected then the freedom of democracy, its liberty should not be surrendered at the feet of a big man or to trust him with powers, meaning the man should not surrender himself to all the institutions, meaning if this is done then all that institution will be affected, even now the matter like the EGCI ITB department, the Election Commission, the misuse of the courts, whenever people get caught in the trap of religion, people say you can see that if the cylinder reaches ₹00, petrol reaches or if the cylinder reaches ₹000, we will give it to the Modi government because religion is putting Islam in danger, that’s why they are going to be very happy, because the most educated people of the society, The Janodhari family, the Jandhari society, they too are even today supporting the BJP because it is because of this that they turned democracy into a religion and everything else, so what happened to Modi, Modi government, everyone is crazy about liquor, that is why he is moving towards dictatorship. Right? What does it mean? There is wrong in being great grateful to a great man who has rendered life. It means that Dr. Ambedkar says that some other person is completely sacrificed for the country, like Bhagat Singh or something, if it is according to this, then it is fine. Too great men who have rendered life long service to the country but there are limits of gratitude, meaning whoever it is, there are limits of gratitude, do not trust anyone because for that, he says that according to Arish Pete Daniel Cole, he says be grateful at the cost of who should be great or chastity and no nation can be at the cost of its liberty , meaning any woman or country should have that greatness up to a limit and after that, they will have to view everything with suspicion, as per the skepticism theory, you can see that this question is far more necessary in the case of India than in the case of any other country, meaning that according to this, India will have to be viewed more cautiously and there is a huge population in European countries, people protest because they have a culture of protesting there, now you see that in Britain, everything is okay, still what are those people doing? Its social convention is democratic and you can see in South Asia, for example, Japan, in that area also, what happens in Buddhist countries, they talk about equality, freedom, people talk about Panchasheel and they also talk about the rationale theory, okay, according to that, they put logic, intellect and discretion to the test because people believe in the theory of cause and effect, so they believe more in logic and intellect, but what about a country like India, where people talk about devotion and what can be called path, devotion, they talk about sacrifice, austerity and sacrifice. Okay? And here there is a hero-worshipping culture. Like here God is in the form of an incarnation. Okay? Like in Buddhism, they believe in an incarnation, so they do not even question God. They believe in reason more than logic . Now Ambedkar says that Europe plays a part in its politics. Now Doctor Ambedkar’s point is that in its politics, by the way, it plays a part in the politics of any other country in the world. The political system here is a bit intrusive of religion and that is a hero-worshipping culture. Here, there is no institutional leadership, but they believe in karmic leadership . Right? Hero-worshipping is always fascinated about the hero-worshipping. So, what is it here? The Bhakti Doctor puts a finger on people and says that Bhakti in religion should have a role to celebrate the soul. Meaning, if it is in religion, then it can give salvation to the soul for heaven, but in politics, Bhakti and hero-worshipping is a different degeneration. If it is in religion, then it is okay, but what does Bhakti mean in politics? It is hero-worshipping and that is a trend from generation to generation, meaning it will spread and dictatorship will come and go. This means what Dr. Ambedkar says that hero worship of devotion in politics can bring an end to democracy. It means that hero-shipping is dangerous in politics. It is dangerous to make someone a hero. Like what is the situation in today’s situation that India is a democracy in the name of democracy. They worship heroes. What is the situation in today’s democracy? People have a trend of hero worship . They worship heroes. That is why it is okay. What does this hero worship do to people? People are not able to protest against it. You can see that criticizing the Prime Minister is considered treason and devotion and troll army crush the democratic bosses. That is why devotion to the leader is considered like God and not a symbol of asking questions because government is like a charity. Okay? In Europe, those people are considered as servants. But here they are considered as gods and they are questioned and even questioning them is considered a sin because here as per the principle of incarnation, any leader or government and especially the religious government which is Hindutva, what is it that positioning someone in the Modi government means that as a traitor or a threat to Hindutva, his troll army or his blind fan people crush him in the name of democracy, they are grooming him accordingly. This is the same reason why Dr. Ambedkar warned that devotion opens the way to dictatorship. Meaning when devotion is found in politics, it will come in the form of dictatorship. Because what the Modi government is doing right now, like using ED, CBI, everyone is making those people cry . He is describing the constitution as he wants. He is tampering with it as he wishes. But people see something bad in it. And what used to happen during the time of Manmohan government was that Anna movement was falsely started and the issue that Vinod Rai ji was making at that time turned out to be false and he apologized. But what was there at that time was democratic culture and there were chances to ask questions but what is the situation now is that the opportunity to ask questions has completely broken down and people are not able to ask questions, that is why it has gone into a dangerous mode. What I mean to say is that this devotion that is happening in politics, this devotion in politics is dangerous. And because of this devotion in politics, people are not able to understand what to do and what not to do. Okay? Now people are not able to think that this is leading to dictatorship as well. Still people are not able to speak. That means Dr. Ambedkar at that time used to talk about this and in the form of Grammar of Anarchy, he considered both NR and YES as dangerous. Now what happens in that? What does it mean that the third thing that Dr. Ambedkar is trying to explain, I want to show you one thing, as you can see here, you can see the social and economic objective that we talked about earlier . Okay? Let us go to Buddha number one, the social and economic objective. Okay? He does not leave that piece of social economy and giving more emphasis to that piece, he says that the third thing is not to be content with political democracy, meaning we have to make our political democracy political democracy as well, meaning what do we have to do? We have to make political social democracy as well. It is absolutely necessary. Brother, if we are not able to make this political democracy social democracy, then we will be ruined. He is saying in this way, in this line, that if we do not make political democracy political democracy, then we will be ruined. We will have to take it forward only then we will be able to survive. This was his belief. If this does not happen then we will not be able to survive at all. His belief is both a question and a correct thing. Is n’t it so? Okay. If we leave it like this and are unable to convert political democracy into social democracy then how will we be able to work, brother? There is no chance, right? He was explaining that thing at that time. And the second thing is that Dr. Ambedkar takes it one step further in the third thing and says that if we want that if we leave it like this or if we are unable to convert political democracy into social democracy then how will we be able to move forward? This was a big curiosity of his, a big warning and he was also upset with this thing. Okay? He was not even accepting it. And in the third thing he says that the third thing we must do is not to be content with mainly being critical. And political democracy cannot be the last at the base of it. Social democracy means political democracy cannot be the last only at the base of it. Social democracy means if we make political democracy a social democracy then it is political democracy because what does it mean? Now those people start defining social democracy as social democracy. Many people feel that Ambedkar converted religion, so by converting religion, according to that, people feel that those people converted religion and by managing religion, the doctor did not do anything for Dalits or anything else. But if you want to see Dr. Ambedkar, then you people will have to see him according to his philosophy . Only then you will be able to know about him, what is this, what is this. What is there in this, what is it, will you be able to know about it at all, otherwise you people will not be able to know about Dr. Ambedkar at all, this is our belief brother, because of this we and when we are talking about the third thing, now we want to say one more thing, as they say that in social democracy, they talk about liberty, equity and fraternity, that is the principle of life, this principle of life, equity, liberty and fraternity are not to be treated as separate items, meaning these three elements are the principle of equity and fraternity, they are not to be treated as separate items in a trinity, there must be a union of these three things, what do these three things have to do, by the way, if one is removed from three, then it is in that sense that there is no divorce of one from the other, meaning two and two from one will not be able to be separated because it is it is to be defeated the very purpose of democracy, meaning what is there to be done with it Whatever is the excess of someone, it has its meaning and its purpose and that is why they say that liberty cannot be divorced from equality, which means that liberty can be achieved through equality and equality should not be divided from liberty and liberty and equality divorce from fraternity means equality and freedom, without equality there is no equality and if there is independent freedom then what happens from it, what is the supremacy of the few over the South Asian countries like India Nepal, they say more that democracy has come, they say more but here there is no equality, but here there is freedom. What happens from it, their social capital, cultural capital, that society dominates . What is it, that society dominates for more and more numbers. That is why it is dangerous. And secondly, in such communist countries there is equality and without liberty kills the individual initiative, which means they do not do it. They do not give him a chance. Like in China, in Russia, during Stalin’s time, in Ma’s time, there is still equity but no freedom, and that is without frightfulness. And one more thing is that if there is no fraternity anywhere, without frightfulness, then there is no brotherhood, so the natural course of things means if there is no brotherhood in anything, then that person will not be able to go through the freedom, equality, course of things, but he will not be able to succeed, if that requirement is not there, what will happen if there is no brotherhood, then what will happen for them in return of brotherhood, a constable, that is a magistrate will have to be kept there who can forcefully enforce the law . Meaning, there will be no moral change that he will be forced from outside to do so. Change will have to be made. Meaning we must begin basing our attention on the fact that there is a complete absence of two things. What is it that if Indian society is going on, acknowledging the fact that there is complete absence of two things means in Indian society, now Dr. Ambedkar is talking very seriously, he is saying that in Indian society two things are missing, one is equality and the other is fraternity, he says on the social plane, okay, one India society based on the principle of great equities, if you look at it in the line, then what is Indian society, it is a compound based on the principle of karmic inequality, which means elevating some for some and degradation of others, means it elevates someone higher and makes someone lower, what is it, it is based on the principle of karmic equality, in the social plane, we have in there is some many and someone has that poverty for those people, someone is high, someone is low, because there is time here and caste economy also because caste it is not one division of labour, it is division of labour, two means innately, okay, innate workers and division of labour is happening and that cheap majority. 80%, 90% Shudra and Ati Shudra and SC ST OBC who are the majority of 85% people, are kept as slaves by 10% people. That is why while criticizing the whole system, they are doing an all round thing about it, they are echoing that since 1950 we are going into a life of contradiction, meaning we are living a life full of contradictions. It means in politics we will have equality, in politics we are equal, but in social and economic life we are unequal and what does it mean in politics? One voting right is equal for all. One person has one vote system and one value and its value is the same. It is equal with the help of voting rights, but they call it universal franchise, meaning 100% from one country to another, everyone above 18 years of age can vote there. But in our social plane, that is, economic life which is by reason of our social and economic structure, the social and economic order, the system, the structure, the structure, due to this we continue to deny the principle of one man one value, that is, social, cultural capital and economic capital are equal, due to this we continue to deny the principle of one man one value, that is, in the social and economic plane, our society is rejecting the one man one value system. Now the doctor asks me another question, shall we continue to live in this, how long will we live in such a paradoxical system, how long will we be able to survive, and he says how long will there be continuity in our social life, how long will we keep washing away this inconsistent thing in our social life, and if we continue to deny it for long, if we keep dragging this on for longer in such a condition, in such a condition, if we will do so only by paying, then we are putting political democracy in danger, what does it mean, we remove this contradiction, it means we have no contradiction, that is, in the social plane, in the social economic plane, it will create equality for us, and what will it do, it will strengthen us, and in the foundation of social democracy, will democracy also be able to survive, if then a possible moment and two inequities mean that the people who are going through this will soon kick it, the friends will kick political democracy, this is the assembly, so the bill means that after working so hard, What did he mean by saying that political democracy will completely collapse? The doctor was speaking in number one. He was talking about two things – complete absence of two things in India. Out of these two things, one thing is equality which is absent. The second thing Dr. Ambedkar is saying is the second thing we must want in the recognition of the principle of equality, meaning we have the principle of fraternity, so what does the principle of fraternity mean? Means a sense of common brotherhood of all Indians, means all the people, We the people, Doctor has been written in the constitution, you can see here With the people, With the people of India, that is what it is, fraternity, With the people, justice has been written in social, economic and political justice, so they are talking about one man, one vote, one value, but into social we are continuing to deny us, one man, one value in social and economic, Doctor Ambedkar is warning about this and Doctor Ambedkar has enforced that With the people of India in the constitution of India, means what does it mean that Doctor Ambedkar who is an Indian They are talking about implementing the forceful things mentioned in the constitution, brother. And okay, they are talking about implementing that thing . So, you can see what is in it. We are denying continuity. And if we show it in this, it will be good. So, what is Dr. Ambedkar doing in this? Define fraternity, common brotherhood of all Indians. Dr. Ambedkar, as written in the constitution, says that if Indians have the principle of unity and solid solidarity in social life, what happens from this, it will create unity and by strengthening it, by making sorority, i.e. by uniting, it will take social life forward and strengthen social democracy. It means it is difficult, it is a but, it means that they are again saying that it is a difficult thing to achieve. Why? Why? Why is this difficult to achieve? Because in today’s time I am telling you why is he doing these things because today’s Modi government is doing what Modi government is actually doing, you can see that he always wants this, okay now what is this Modi government doing, he is talking about Hindu Rashtra, brother, when he talks about Hindu Rashtra, what does Dr. Ambedkar think about it? Doctor believes that if a Hindu state is actually formed then undoubtedly a huge danger will arise for this country. Okay? Danger will arise. Why? Because whatever Hindus say, but Hindutva is a danger to freedom, equality and brotherhood. I mean you can see in Dr. Ambedkar’s words. Why is he saying this? This freedom, equality is at the base of the Way of Trinity and the Way of Life and if this weakens then social democracy will end. If social democracy ends then this foundation will not end, then both economic democracy and political democracy will end. That is why Dr. Ambedkar says that the people of RSS and BJP who are talking about Hindu Rashtra in today’s time are dangerous for today’s society and also for political democracy. On this basis, an injustice to democracy means inappropriate for democracy. My topic is that I am talking about it in today’s time. I am talking about it because it talks about today’s government and Hindutva and after 400, those people were talking in the same line so that they want to change the crux of the constitution of 400, the crux of social democracy in return. It means that by eliminating equality, liberty and brotherhood, they talk of equality instead of graduand brotherhood, they do not talk about equality at all, that is why it is inappropriate and Hindu Rashtra should be stopped at any cost. What place should this become, Dr. Ambedkar, in this book, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar, in Hindi Volume 13, it is clearly written that Hindu Rashtra is a clear discrimination-free communal rule. Dr. Ambedkar has clearly said that in today’s time, this is dangerous and if this thing is not stopped, it will end. If we talk about this, American Commonwealth or any story from the press, we will not go here and go here. Our motto was till here only, that is why we want that in today’s context also, it is as effective and as far-sighted as that, because you should understand that if democracy ends, if this Modi RSS government, this government of chronic capitalism, the cocktail of both Brahman and Capitalism, if it continues like this, then this democracy will end and the Indian society of South Asia or the Indian society will totally It will be destroyed. This was the saying of Dr. Ambedkar today and everyone will have to understand it properly. Otherwise, there is no chance for anyone to go further towards destruction. You will have to keep this thing in mind because it will not remain just political democracy, social and economic. Okay? If this thing is not formed, then it will go towards destruction. Because what is it today? In today’s situation, casteism is still deeply rooted. Okay? What is it today? Casteism was deep rooted earlier also and will remain deep rooted today also. Casteism is in a state of complete chaos. Okay? If this casteism increases like this, when all the Dalits, Adivasis, OBCs are backward in terms of education, land and jobs and there is dominance of corporates, some people have huge property and the rest of the country is in poverty, due to this, privatization and reservation are also being attacked, then these poor people will become more poor and if they become poor, then they will be ruined in the economic plane and economic justice in People will not get it and social justice was already a disaster, so when this happens, even political democracy will not be able to survive and socio-economic inequality will increase and it will lead to anarchism. What will happen because of that? What does Dr. Ambedkar say? You will have to go here. If this happens, what will those people have to do? So those people will have to adopt anarchy because they will not get this thing through constitutional method, so what will happen because of that, people will have to adopt unconstitutional method as well. What does that mean that people may take up arms. They can also do Naxalism. Okay? Naxalism may increase or anarchism may increase. Okay? And if this continues and this kind of suppression continues in a dictatorial manner, like the system of destroying anti-social elements like Amit Shah from 1997 to 2002, and the new law that has been brought in Maharashtra , in the name of urban Naxals, in the name of MAWA, this will continue and will be unjust and will lead to dictatorship, and by arresting intellectuals and people like Umar Khalid, in the same way, if this thing keeps on increasing, then it will become more dangerous and this dangerous thing will lead to more destruction. This thing should not be forgotten. Otherwise, Ambedkar has not only given a warning at the end of his speech. He has also given a way. I mean, what was that way? He is suggesting this for freedom, equality and fraternity, brother. Okay? He gives it in many ways , freedom, equality and fraternity. There is democracy in the world. If there is no fraternity for democracy, then he has also set the other two. Of course we had to believe in this and what does brotherhood mean? A feeling of unity and unity of a nation and a society, to believe in a human being above caste, religion and language, not to believe in anyone who is inside or outside. Okay? And this thing that is today’s environment of hatred and polarization, as a bigger enemy than this, Dr. Ambedkar was pointing out or cautioning about this at that time. That’s why friends, what I want to request you people in the end is that the warning that Dr. Ambedkar had given in 1950, if we move away from the path of the Constitution, then India will break and is still on the verge of breaking. If devotion comes in politics, then dictator will also come. What does it mean? If devotion comes in politics, then this dictator will also come. If there is no social and economic equality, then political freedom will also be lost. But if we do not have social and economic equality, then political freedom will also be lost. We people have to keep this thing in mind. And in the end he also showed us this path that the path of brotherhood and humanity is the path of welfare of the people right now. Otherwise, if this constitution is also a friend, then the country India will break. This was a visionary speech of Dr. Ambedkar. Brother, that is why friends, if you join our new channel Critical Debate Channel as much as possible, subscribe, like, comment and share and make it reach every home. We are Dr. Ambedkar, Periyar Phule, this system of social justice. We will keep presenting it in front of you in an academic way and as per the dose of knowledge and this is our beginning, we will keep exposing every thing of Dr. Ambedkar, Periyar Phule and history, archeology, history and mythology, we will go ahead by exposing all these things, in this we have to play in the peace of social justice and everyone should rise above caste, religion and gender and strengthen this social justice peace and join so that we can all move forward and thank you, we will meet again, Namaste, bye bye .

0.32 Hearty welcome friends. Today we
6.4 are going to talk about a very important topic.
12.4 How dangerous is it for the democracy of India in today’s context or how relevant is what Dr. Ambedkar ji
22.64 was saying in his last speech in the Constituent Assembly in 1950 in today’s context,
31.519 we are going to discuss about this today. Friends,
38.0 for
44.16 this, we are talking about what is the system in the Constitution of India and how it is
53.12 and in the context of today’s Hindu nation, what is it that is visible,
62.399 is it possible or not, we are also going to talk
69.68 about this today friends, that is why
77.2 before we start today’s context, friends, how relevant is this live session. On 26 January 1950,
92.0 while adopting the Constitution of India, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar
97.68 gave his last historical speech in the Constituent Assembly. Many people
107.119 consider it to be just a formal speech today, but in reality, this speech was a serious warning for the democracy of India.
114.479 I will look at it from this perspective today and I
122.399 am going to try to show that perspective to you people as well, friends, because this
129.36 was a kind of prophecy, how it can be a warning bell for us, according to that,
136.959 Dr. Ambedkar was speaking, he was a visionary leader, that is why we believe that today we
142.8 are showing those three points, if the Constitution of India shows these three
152.64 points, then the three points shown by Dr. Ambedkar were the guidance for the future and
160.319 today we are going to talk clearly about those three points. If those
166.319 three points are not adopted, then not only India, but any democracy of any country
172.4 will not be able to survive. That is our claim. Because we
179.68 are definitely going to try to coordinate the philosophy of Dr. Ambedkar, the
187.12 justice in constitutional form, with the justice given in his constitution
194.08 in his speech. Friends, first of all,
199.84 today I want to show you our disclaimer. Friends, our aim
210.72 is only to develop scientific temper and
217.92 we believe in the crux of scientific temper for a person, rationality, humanity, morality, and for society
224.48 or social democracy, equity, liberty,
229.599 fraternity and justice should be there in the social democracy, which
237.519 Dr. Ambedkar used to talk about an ideal society. We
243.599 believe that the crux of it is social democracy and the crux of social democracy is equity, liberty
249.519 and fraternity, today we are going to talk about social democracy under our
256.16 subject matter. Friends, Dr. Ambedkar
261.28 talks about social democracy as the foundation of political democracy. We are going to clear this in the same. And friends, we
276.16 are not in favour of any caste, religion, gender, caste, class or creed. We talk about egalitarian society
285.6 and we believe in that. Friends, how do we want that?
290.96 For that, we want the society to be educated critically, if
299.6 we look at the language of education according to that, then there should be critical and critically conscious education
307.6 and that person can get agitated, organize and revolt. This
314.96 is our belief. Friends, this is our disclaimer and our aim is not to hurt anyone
322.8 . Because this thing on a scientific level is the cross of modern civilization
328.479 . It is the cross. This is our belief. Friends,
334.96 now before entering into the subject matter,
340.96 we want to show once again that our topic for today is why Ambedkar’s 1950
347.6 warning still echoes
352.72 in India in today’s India, that is, why Ambedkar’s
358.4 1950 warning still echoes, frightens today’s India. Okay? Why Ambedkar’s
367.039 1950 warning still echoes in India today. Even today, why is it so great, what
377.919 Dr. Ambedkar said in 1950. What is it in today’s context? Why does it keep echoing
385.52 ? Why does every person quote it? What does it mean? We
392.479 are going to talk about it . Friends, for this, today we are going to Volume 13. For this
402.24 , what was the last speech of the Constituent Assembly of Volume 13? We are going to talk about it
410.96 . Friends, let us try to see
417.6 this thing in the context of this . Friends,
424.0 in the speech of 1950,
432.08 what Dr. Ambedkar first did was that on 26 January 1950,
442.0 he gave the speech of being a democratic country, that India would be a democratization of the people, by the people for the rule of the people, what did Dr. Ambedkar say?
456.56 First let’s talk about the demo, this is a democratic system, isn’t it? India
463.919 lost this means. Doctor Ambedkar says that the democratic country which came into existence earlier,
470.16 which existed in the form of a republican country since the time of Buddha,
478.16 had a parliamentary system as well. The Buddhist Bhikku Sangha is
485.84 considered as a parliamentary democratic system and Doctor Ambedkar believes that a democratic
496.8 country, India is formed by the people, by the people and for the people, democracy existed for the people
508.639 even at that time and what would happen to every democratic constitution, the same thought
519.36 in my mind, the same thought in his mind, what does constitution mean,
526.08 means will we be able to maintain it and will it
532.56 lose again this come to my mind and makes me as afraid as
538.88 the constitution which was a democratic system, which was lost at that time,
546.0 okay then the doctor says that even now I am afraid, then why does it
553.92 bother me that the second third to my mind that makes me
559.6 think of the second thing that
566.56 I should see in it or this loss worries me and It is
575.36 not that, it needs no knowledge of democracy,
581.12 it means that India does not know democracy, it is not
590.56 there at all, that was a time study, it means
598.48 that which happens after the solar janapada, okay, we are
604.56 talking about emperor Ashoka Maurya and doctors and Buddha and thoughts, where it was about 16 January, it was a republic
616.399 and at that time parliamentary procedure used to be followed, it used to be followed properly, Buddhist Bhikku
624.24 Sangha used to be followed and
629.519 there was nothing but parliaments in Buddhism, okay Buddha Buddham Sharanam
643.68 Sharanam and Dhamam Sharanam Gachhami, their rules regarding
649.44 seat arrangement, I mean what was there in the Sangha, they had rules regarding seating arrangement,
655.68 I mean the sing arrangement that was there in the parliament today, the same style, I mean the talk system,
663.279 that system was there in that Sangha as well and the rulers, rules motions, I mean the
672.32 rules motions that were followed in those times in riots, whatever is followed in the parliament session today, it used to be followed according to that
678.24 and there used to be resolution, there used to be talk of quorum, I mean There used to be talk of majority
686.079 and continuing votes and voting, all these things, that means
694.56 the system of voting by bullets,
700.399 the Marxist system comes under Marxism. Okay? But that
708.079 by ballots, okay, that system existed in that time as well, he is talking about. Okay?
717.2 And Dr. Ambedkar says
731.68 that friends, at that time, the thing that existed in today’s era,
738.079 that thing existed in that time as well, that censor motion
743.839 regulation, they
749.12 used to call it judiciary, that means even at that time, the democratic rules of
755.519 parliamentary procedure were applied by the Buddha to the meeting of the
760.72 Sangha, that means the democratic rules and norms
767.2 were used by the Buddha at that time and the Sanghas must have borrowed on the rules of the political assembly
777.12 function country in that time, that means it was a republican system and the whole democratic
786.24 exercise used to happen there. Now what Dr. Ambedkar says is that this
793.04 democratic system in India was lost means the democratic system of that time
799.12 was lost according to the pace of time, it was lost and we lost it a second time, now the
808.399 democracy that we got after chasing away the British in 1950, then
814.16 what did we lose in that second time too, then what did we
821.279 lose, then this democratic system will be lost, this is their concern,
827.92 the ranger of democracy giving place to dictatorship means do not know but it is
833.2 quite possible in India that democracy will form its long news must be regarded
839.12 this something quite new there is danger democracy giving place to dictatorship
846.48 means when democracy will end then it
852.959 will give birth to dictatorship and so it is quite possible for this new democracy
859.04 , it will form its form but it will give place to dictatorship, when democracy will end then it
866.32 will move towards dictatorship,
872.079 this is the concern and there is a landslide danger of the second
880.16 possibility coming Actually much means that now even for the second time there is a chance that this system may end
887.839 and
893.04 it
900.079 is very important for us to be concerned about this system. People are doing that. And now the game has begun, if we want
911.92 that democracy should not end, medley in form means form is not just in name but
921.519 in but also in fact means if we want to save this democracy in a good way, the
928.88 motto of democracy, democratic norms, in its total form, then what must we do,
941.6 what should we do, now what is Dr. Ambedkar
948.639 doing to him, now he is prescribing three things.
956.079 First thing is that the first thing in my judgement we must is to
962.32 hold on to certain methods of assessing and social and economic objectives. What
969.92 Dr. Ambedkar meant was that I want to give a little perspective of the Constitution of India
982.0 . You will get an idea of what he is talking about. You people
989.44 will get an idea. See, you can see here that actually Dr. Ambedkar is talking about the way
999.839 he talks about this, I believe that what is the main thing
1006.48 among these people, for example, the republic, the people of India, having completely reserved themselves to make India
1013.44 a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, and to secure
1018.88 all its citizens, meaning the constitution of
1027.679 India, which is sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic and republican,
1034.24 provides justice to all citizens, meaning justice means
1042.079 social, economic and political justice, and it also talks about liberty, liberty
1051.36 of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship, meaning equality, freedom,
1057.76 and justice, okay, they talk about those things, today we will specifically talk
1064.4 about justice, and in broad terms, liberty, equity, fraternity,
1071.76 we will not go into details, but what is this thing that is across social democracy, okay, liberty, equity and fraternity will come up soon, and justice means social justice, economic
1082.48 justice and We are talking about political justice. Okay? This is the Constitution of India. Now
1087.84 we will take you here again. Now what happens in this is that Dr.
1095.039 Ambedkar is right, we will take you here. Now
1100.64 what happens in this is that the first thing that Dr. Ambedkar is talking about is that his
1110.24 main motto is that the social and economic objectives, this too
1116.48 has to be taken along . The first thing judgment we must do is to hold on to
1126.0 pursuing social and economic objectives. You
1132.24 should underline this. By retaining social and economic objectives
1140.08 it means we must abandon the body. If we will preserve this thing
1147.6 along with the objective and will take forward the social and economic objectives while preserving them, only then
1154.4 we will be able to control the broad method of revolution. We must abandon the method of civil disobedience
1161.679 , that is, the civil disobedience
1167.919 regarding citizens and the method of non-cooperation, this
1176.799 Satyagraha system, this will also be proved to be achieved there because when there is no
1185.28 way left for this method and we
1191.28 will not implement it in a proper manner, then for achieving economic and social objectives there was a great deal of
1200.96 justification for unstitutional method, if we will not be able to fulfil
1207.679 these economic and social objectives
1212.799 or will not arrange for it in the situational method.
1219.44 If we are not able to achieve the economic and social goals by using the situational method,
1226.24 then we will have to adopt the unconventional method or the country will move in that direction. That
1234.4 situational method and if we open the constitutional method and make arrangements in it,
1245.039 if we apply the situational method in it and our
1252.559 country will remain democratic according to that , then we will not give any corner to the situational method
1265.6 and there will be no need for it. What does that bloody revolution mean? That bloody revolution
1273.44 means that the Marxist type of revolution also needs
1280.72 violence and non-violence and the other one, which is Gandhi’s
1288.88 Satyagraha, is also a part of violence, Dr. Ambedkar
1294.96 considers it a part of violence and they are the grammar of
1301.679 N.R. If it
1307.039 remains intact, then it is possible that Dr. Ambedkar gives
1313.84 a warning to the people in the form of Damar Buddha
1319.52 . Okay? That is why we say that as
1325.84 you can see in today’s era, okay, now these constitutional methods that people are using are
1334.799 ending the democratic exercise, ED, CBI
1341.679 are taking action against the political opponents and the democratic exercise is completely vanishing. So
1353.76 what happens with this is that people’s anger will come out, okay? And the main thing is that what
1359.84 is happening with the election commission, that election commission and the whole democratic process,
1369.76 what happens with this is that people are being killed by unsatisfactory methods. So
1377.44 people’s inclination towards unsatisfactory methods can increase, Dr. Ambedkar at the same time. He used to say that
1387.6 you can see that these people like BJP, RSS are
1393.2 imposing Hindi language in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and today this thing is going on and the judiciary and media are being completely controlled.
1403.84 The media has become their sycophant. So this media which we see in the public form
1410.64 is also getting ruined. Like the three four pillars like judiciary, executive, legislature and
1421.2 media, Modi sir is destroying all these four things in whatever form. What is happening with this is
1429.84 that it is forcing people to go towards NRC. This Dr. Ambedkar says
1435.919 that to maintain it is the base for the health, the growth of democracy,
1445.039 what did Buddha mean by saying this, this is what it means, what does it mean that all this is what
1453.2 Ambedkar said, when one feels that the right paths are closed, then one
1462.32 gets a chance to take the path of anger. Due to this, India can see that Dr.
1467.6 Ambedkar, at the same time, in Buddha number one,
1474.0 Dr. Ambedkar, the second number one in the form of Grammar of Anarchy, is also giving this warning according to the second number . Okay? What do you say about Dr. Ambedkar in the warning
1485.36 that the second thing must be done to observe what
1491.76 Jose Mill believed has been given to all who are intended in the maintenance of
1502.08 democracy, namely not to take the liberty of democracy’s feet, meaning if
1508.48 democracy has to be protected then the freedom of democracy,
1514.799 its liberty should not be surrendered at the feet of a big man or to
1524.24 trust him with powers, meaning the man should not surrender himself to all
1532.64 the institutions, meaning if this is done then all that institution will be affected, even now the matter like
1538.88 the EGCI ITB department, the Election
1545.36 Commission, the misuse of the courts, whenever people
1552.159 get caught in the trap of religion, people say you can see that if the cylinder
1559.76 reaches ₹00, petrol reaches or if the cylinder reaches ₹000, we will give it to the Modi government because
1567.52 religion is putting Islam in danger, that’s why they are going to be very happy, because
1573.76 the most educated people of the society, The Janodhari family, the
1580.24 Jandhari society, they too are even today supporting the BJP because it is
1588.32 because of this that they
1597.039 turned democracy into a religion and everything else, so what happened to Modi, Modi government, everyone is crazy about liquor,
1608.08 that is why he is moving towards dictatorship. Right? What does it mean? There is wrong in being
1614.48 great grateful to a great man who has rendered life. It means that Dr. Ambedkar says that
1622.0 some other person is completely sacrificed for the country, like Bhagat Singh or something, if it
1629.2 is according to this, then it is fine. Too great men who have rendered life long
1634.559 service to the country but there are limits of gratitude, meaning whoever it is, there
1642.88 are limits of gratitude, do not trust anyone
1648.64 because for that, he says that according to Arish Pete Daniel Cole, he says
1658.559 be grateful at the cost of who should be great or
1666.24 chastity and no nation can be at the cost of its liberty
1672.08 , meaning any woman or country should have that greatness up to a limit and after that, they
1683.44 will have to view everything with suspicion, as per the skepticism theory, you
1690.399 can see that this question is far more necessary in the case of India than in the case
1696.559 of any other country, meaning that according to this, India
1703.36 will have to be viewed more cautiously and
1711.039 there is a huge population in European countries, people protest because they have a culture of protesting there, now you see
1718.159 that in Britain, everything is okay, still what are those people doing? Its social convention is democratic and you
1729.2 can see in South Asia, for example, Japan, in that area also, what
1735.36 happens in Buddhist countries, they talk about equality, freedom, people talk about Panchasheel and they also talk about
1746.159 the rationale theory, okay, according to that, they put
1754.159 logic, intellect and discretion to the test
1760.08 because people believe in the theory of cause and effect,
1766.159 so they believe more in logic and intellect, but what about a country like India,
1772.08 where people talk about devotion and what can be called path, devotion, they talk
1783.36 about sacrifice, austerity and sacrifice. Okay? And here there
1789.12 is a hero-worshipping culture. Like here God is in the form of an incarnation. Okay? Like
1795.039 in Buddhism, they believe in an incarnation, so they do not even question God.
1802.24 They believe in reason more than logic
1808.159 . Now Ambedkar says that Europe plays a part in its politics. Now Doctor
1814.64 Ambedkar’s point is that in its politics, by the way, it
1823.12 plays a part in the politics of any other country in the world.
1829.44 The political system here is a bit intrusive of religion and that
1838.0 is a hero-worshipping culture. Here, there is no institutional leadership, but they believe in karmic leadership
1844.32 . Right? Hero-worshipping is always fascinated about the hero-worshipping.
1851.36 So, what is it here? The Bhakti Doctor puts a finger on people
1857.36 and says that Bhakti in religion should have a role to
1863.52 celebrate the soul. Meaning, if it is in religion, then it can give salvation to
1872.0 the soul for heaven, but in politics, Bhakti and hero-worshipping is a different degeneration. If it
1879.919 is in religion, then it is okay, but what does Bhakti mean in politics? It
1885.6 is hero-worshipping and that is a trend from generation to generation, meaning it will spread and
1894.08 dictatorship will come and go. This means what Dr. Ambedkar says that
1900.159 hero worship of devotion in politics can bring an end to democracy. It means that hero-shipping is dangerous in politics. It
1913.6 is dangerous to make someone a hero. Like what is the situation in today’s situation that India
1919.12 is a democracy in the name of democracy. They worship heroes. What is the situation in today’s democracy? People have a trend of hero worship
1930.08 . They worship heroes. That is why it
1937.2 is okay. What does this hero worship do to people? People
1943.679 are not able to protest against it. You can see that criticizing the Prime Minister is considered treason and
1948.72 devotion and troll army crush the democratic bosses. That is why devotion to the leader
1956.24 is considered like God and not a symbol of asking questions because
1962.32 government is like a charity. Okay? In Europe, those people are
1968.0 considered as servants. But here they are considered as gods and they are questioned and even questioning them is considered a sin because here as
1979.6 per the principle of incarnation, any leader or government and especially
1986.48 the religious government which is Hindutva, what is it that positioning someone in the Modi government means
1994.32 that as a traitor or a threat to Hindutva, his troll army or his blind fan
2001.919 people crush him in the name of democracy, they are grooming him accordingly.
2008.32 This is the same reason why Dr. Ambedkar warned that devotion opens the way to dictatorship.
2015.039 Meaning when devotion is found in politics, it will come in the form of dictatorship. Because
2020.799 what the Modi government is doing right now, like using ED, CBI, everyone is making those people cry
2027.44 . He is describing the constitution as he wants. He
2033.039 is tampering with it as he wishes. But people see something bad in it. And what used to happen during the time of Manmohan
2039.6 government was that Anna movement was falsely started and
2045.12 the issue that Vinod Rai ji was making at that time turned out to be false and he apologized.
2051.28 But what was there at that time was democratic culture and there were chances to ask questions but what is the situation now is that the opportunity to ask questions has completely broken down
2063.839 and people are not able to ask questions, that is why it has gone into a dangerous mode. What I mean to say
2070.879 is that this devotion that is happening in politics, this devotion in politics
2077.76 is dangerous. And because of this devotion in politics,
2083.919 people are not able to understand what to do and
2088.96 what not to do. Okay? Now people are not able to think that this
2094.879 is leading to dictatorship as well. Still people are not able to speak. That means Dr.
2100.72 Ambedkar at that time used to talk about this and in the form of Grammar of Anarchy, he
2110.48 considered both NR and YES
2116.4 as dangerous. Now
2124.0 what happens in that? What does it
2133.68 mean that the third thing that Dr.
2139.359 Ambedkar is trying to explain, I want to show you one thing, as you
2148.64 can see here, you can see
2155.52 the social and economic objective that we talked about earlier . Okay?
2162.16 Let us go to Buddha number one, the social and economic objective. Okay?
2168.96 He does not leave that piece of social economy and giving more emphasis to that piece, he says
2178.8 that the third thing is not to be content with political democracy, meaning we have
2185.359 to make our political democracy political democracy as well, meaning what do we have to do?
2196.32 We have to make political social democracy as well. It is absolutely necessary. Brother,
2207.119 if we are not able to make this political democracy social democracy, then we will be ruined. He is saying
2218.96 in this way, in this line, that if we do not make
2227.04 political democracy political democracy, then we will
2232.32 be ruined. We will have to take it forward only then we will be able to survive. This
2242.48 was his belief. If this does not happen then we will not be able to survive at all. His
2251.52 belief is both a question and a correct thing. Is
2258.079 n’t it so? Okay. If we leave it like this and
2265.28 are unable to convert political democracy into social democracy then how will we be able to work, brother?
2271.76 There is no chance, right? He was explaining that thing at that time. And the second thing
2279.68 is that Dr. Ambedkar
2285.359 takes it one step further in the third thing and says that if we want
2294.88 that
2301.2 if we leave it like this or if we
2309.2 are unable to convert political democracy into social democracy then how will we be able to move forward?
2315.92 This was a big curiosity of his, a big warning and he was also upset with this thing.
2325.68 Okay? He was not even accepting it. And in the third thing he says that the third
2331.359 thing we must do is not to be content with mainly being critical. And political
2336.56 democracy cannot be the last at the base of it. Social democracy means
2344.079 political democracy cannot be the last only at the base of it. Social democracy means
2350.8 if we make political democracy a social democracy then it is political
2357.2 democracy because what does it mean? Now those people start defining social democracy as social democracy.
2367.76 Many people feel that Ambedkar converted religion, so
2379.44 by converting religion, according to that,
2389.04 people feel that those people converted religion and
2396.0 by managing religion, the doctor did not do anything for Dalits or anything else. But
2404.72 if you want to see Dr. Ambedkar, then you people will have to see him according to his philosophy
2410.64 . Only then you will be able to know about him, what is this, what
2417.68 is this. What is there in this, what is it, will
2425.44 you be able to know about it at all, otherwise you people
2430.56 will not be able to know about Dr. Ambedkar at all, this is our belief brother,
2438.64 because of
2448.72 this we
2455.68 and when we are talking about the third thing, now we want to say one more thing,
2460.96 as they say that in social democracy,
2468.16 they talk about liberty, equity and fraternity, that is the principle of life, this principle of life, equity, liberty and fraternity are not to be treated as separate
2479.119 items, meaning these three elements are the principle of equity and
2486.319 fraternity, they are not to be treated as separate items in a trinity,
2492.48 there must be a union of these three things,
2501.52 what do these three things have to do, by the way, if one is removed from three, then it is in
2512.48 that sense that there is no divorce of one from the other, meaning two and two from one
2520.64 will not be able to be separated because it is it is to be defeated the very purpose of democracy, meaning
2529.599 what is there to be done with it Whatever is the excess of someone, it has its
2536.96 meaning and its purpose and that is why they say
2544.8 that liberty cannot be divorced from equality, which means
2551.04 that liberty can be achieved through equality and equality
2561.839 should not be divided from liberty and liberty and equality divorce from fraternity means equality and freedom, without equality there
2574.24 is no equality and if there is independent freedom
2579.76 then what happens from it, what is the supremacy of the few over the South Asian
2587.839 countries like India Nepal, they say more that democracy has come, they say more but
2594.64 here there is no equality, but here there is freedom.
2600.0 What happens from it, their social capital, cultural capital, that society dominates
2606.079 . What is it, that society
2611.839 dominates for more and more numbers. That is why it is dangerous. And secondly, in such communist countries there is equality and without liberty kills the
2625.2 individual initiative, which means they do not do it. They do not give him a chance. Like
2632.4 in China, in Russia, during Stalin’s time, in Ma’s time, there
2638.24 is still equity but no freedom, and that is without frightfulness. And one more thing is that
2646.72 if there is no fraternity anywhere, without frightfulness,
2654.48 then there is no brotherhood, so the natural course of things means if there is no brotherhood in anything,
2662.0 then that person will not be able to go through the freedom, equality, course of things, but
2667.04 he will not be able to succeed, if that requirement is not there, what will happen if
2673.599 there is no brotherhood, then what will happen for them in return of brotherhood,
2680.64 a constable, that is a magistrate will have to be kept there who can forcefully enforce the law
2687.68 . Meaning, there will be no moral change that he will be forced from outside to do so.
2694.4 Change will have to be made. Meaning we must begin basing our attention on
2699.92 the fact that there is a complete absence of two things.
2705.68 What is it that if Indian society is going on, acknowledging
2710.96 the fact that there is complete absence of two things means in Indian society, now
2716.319 Dr. Ambedkar is talking very seriously, he is saying that in Indian society
2724.24 two things are missing,
2731.52 one is equality and the other is fraternity, he says on the social plane, okay, one
2738.48 India society based on the principle of great equities,
2745.76 if you look at it in the line, then what is Indian society, it
2752.079 is a compound based on the principle of karmic inequality, which means elevating some for some and degradation of
2758.72 others, means it elevates someone higher and makes someone lower, what is it,
2764.319 it is based on the principle of karmic equality, in the social plane, we have in there is some many
2776.4 and someone has that poverty for those people,
2784.24 someone is high, someone is low, because there is time here and caste economy also because
2792.16 caste it is not one division of labour, it is division of labour, two means innately,
2800.4 okay, innate workers and division of labour is happening and that cheap majority. 80%, 90%
2810.96 Shudra and Ati Shudra and SC ST OBC who
2816.4 are the majority of 85% people,
2823.04 are kept as slaves by 10% people. That is why while criticizing the whole system, they are doing an all round thing about it, they are echoing that since 1950
2836.8 we are going into a life of contradiction, meaning we
2844.56 are living a life full of contradictions. It
2850.72 means in politics we will have equality, in politics we are equal, but
2858.4 in social and economic life we are unequal and what does it mean in politics? One
2866.8 voting right is equal for all. One person has one vote system and one value and its
2873.44 value is the same. It is equal with the help of voting rights, but
2880.319 they call it universal franchise, meaning 100% from one country
2887.92 to another, everyone above 18 years of age can vote there.
2893.599 But in our social plane, that
2900.079 is, economic life which is by reason of our social and economic structure, the social and economic order, the system,
2912.319 the structure, the structure, due to this we continue to deny the principle of one man
2918.64 one value, that is, social, cultural capital and economic capital are equal, due to this we
2924.88 continue to deny the principle of one man one value, that is, in the social and economic
2932.64 plane, our society is rejecting the one man one value system. Now the doctor
2940.559 asks me another question, shall we continue to live in this,
2946.88 how long will we live in such a paradoxical system, how long will we be able to survive,
2954.0 and he says how long will there be continuity
2960.079 in our social life, how long will we keep washing away this inconsistent thing in our social life, and if
2967.76 we continue to deny it for long, if we keep dragging this on for longer in such
2974.72 a condition, in such a condition, if we will do so only by paying, then we are
2983.359 putting political democracy in danger, what does it mean,
2991.04 we remove this contradiction, it means we have no contradiction, that is, in the social plane,
3002.16 in the social economic plane, it will create equality for us, and what will it do, it will strengthen us, and
3012.079 in the foundation of social democracy, will democracy also be able to survive, if
3017.359 then a possible moment and two inequities mean that the people who
3027.359 are going through this will soon kick it, the friends will kick political democracy, this
3036.88 is the assembly, so the bill means that after working so hard, What did he mean by saying that political democracy will completely collapse?
3048.16 The doctor was speaking in number one. He was talking about two things –
3054.16 complete absence of two things in India. Out of these two things, one thing
3059.28 is equality which is absent. The second thing Dr. Ambedkar is saying is the second thing we must
3066.319 want in the recognition of the principle of equality, meaning we have the principle of fraternity, so what does the principle of fraternity mean?
3078.559 Means a sense of common brotherhood of all Indians, means all the people, We the people,
3087.2 Doctor has been written in the constitution, you can see here
3094.96 With the people, With the people of India, that is what it is, fraternity, With the people, justice
3102.72 has been written in social, economic and political justice, so they are talking about one man, one vote, one value, but into social we are continuing to deny us, one
3114.8 man, one value in social and economic, Doctor Ambedkar is warning about this and Doctor
3121.92 Ambedkar has enforced that With the people of India in the constitution of India, means what does it mean that Doctor Ambedkar who is an Indian
3133.119 They are talking about implementing the forceful things mentioned in the constitution,
3139.44 brother. And okay, they are talking about implementing that thing
3145.839 . So, you can see what is in it.
3151.119 We are denying continuity. And if we
3160.4 show it in this, it will be good. So,
3168.4 what is Dr. Ambedkar doing in this? Define fraternity,
3174.4 common brotherhood of all Indians.
3181.76 Dr. Ambedkar, as written in the constitution,
3187.52 says that if Indians have the principle of
3193.92 unity and solid solidarity in social life, what happens from this, it
3201.119 will create unity and by strengthening it,
3207.2 by making sorority, i.e. by uniting, it will take social life forward and strengthen social democracy.
3212.96 It means it is difficult, it is a but, it means that they are again saying that it is a difficult
3218.96 thing to achieve. Why? Why? Why is this difficult to achieve? Because
3225.839 in today’s time I am telling you why is he doing these things because today’s Modi government is doing what Modi government is
3237.44 actually doing, you can see that he always wants this, okay now
3247.2 what is this Modi government doing, he is talking about Hindu Rashtra, brother, when he talks about Hindu Rashtra, what does Dr. Ambedkar
3256.64 think about it? Doctor believes that if a Hindu state is actually formed then undoubtedly
3262.8 a huge danger will arise for this country. Okay? Danger will arise. Why?
3268.079 Because whatever Hindus say, but Hindutva
3274.8 is a danger to freedom, equality and brotherhood. I mean you can see in Dr. Ambedkar’s words. Why is he saying this? This
3280.64 freedom, equality
3288.8 is at the base of the Way of Trinity and the Way of Life and if this weakens then social democracy will end. If social
3299.44 democracy ends then this foundation will not end, then both economic democracy and political democracy will end.
3308.319 That is why Dr. Ambedkar says that
3314.88 the people of RSS and BJP who are talking about Hindu Rashtra in today’s time are
3321.119 dangerous for today’s society and also for political democracy. On this basis, an injustice to democracy means
3327.92 inappropriate for democracy. My topic is that I am talking about it in today’s time. I
3334.8 am talking about it because it talks about today’s government and Hindutva and
3341.76 after 400, those people were talking in the same line so that they want to change
3349.52 the crux of the constitution of 400, the crux of social democracy
3356.4 in return. It means that by eliminating equality, liberty and brotherhood,
3364.559 they talk of equality instead of graduand brotherhood, they do not talk about equality at all, that is why it
3376.16 is inappropriate and Hindu Rashtra should be stopped at any cost.
3384.4 What place should this become, Dr. Ambedkar, in this book, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar,
3390.64 in Hindi Volume 13, it is clearly written that Hindu Rashtra is a clear discrimination-free communal
3400.24 rule. Dr. Ambedkar has clearly said that in today’s time, this
3406.64 is dangerous and if this thing is not stopped,
3412.88 it will end. If
3420.559 we talk about this, American Commonwealth or any story from the press, we will not go here
3430.319 and go here. Our motto was till here only, that is why we want that
3436.079 in today’s context also, it is as effective and as far-sighted as that, because you should understand
3446.96 that if democracy ends, if this Modi RSS government, this
3454.4 government of chronic capitalism, the cocktail of both Brahman and Capitalism, if
3460.64 it continues like this, then this democracy will end and the Indian
3468.64 society of South Asia or the Indian society will totally It will be destroyed. This was the saying of Dr. Ambedkar today
3476.079 and everyone will have to understand it properly. Otherwise,
3485.68 there is no chance for anyone to go further towards destruction. You
3494.72 will have to keep this thing in mind because it will not remain just political democracy, social and
3502.0 economic. Okay? If this thing is not formed, then it will go towards destruction. Because
3507.68 what is it today? In today’s situation, casteism is still deeply rooted. Okay? What
3515.119 is it today? Casteism was deep rooted earlier also and will remain deep rooted today also.
3522.0 Casteism is in a state of complete chaos. Okay? If this casteism increases like this,
3528.48 when all the Dalits, Adivasis, OBCs are backward in terms of education, land and jobs and there is dominance of corporates,
3534.4 some people have huge property and the rest of the country is in poverty, due to this, privatization
3541.52 and reservation are also being attacked, then these poor people will become more poor and if they
3549.44 become poor, then they will be ruined in the economic plane and economic justice in People will not get it and social justice was already a disaster, so when this happens,
3559.44 even political democracy will not be able to survive and socio-economic inequality will increase and
3566.48 it will lead to anarchism. What will happen because of that? What does Dr. Ambedkar say?
3571.92 You will have to go here. If this happens, what will those people have to do? So those
3579.2 people will have to adopt anarchy because they will not get this thing through constitutional method, so what
3586.16 will happen because of that, people will have to adopt unconstitutional method as well. What does that mean that
3592.799 people may take up arms. They can also do Naxalism. Okay?
3598.16 Naxalism may increase or anarchism may increase. Okay? And if this
3607.76 continues and this kind of suppression continues in a dictatorial manner, like
3615.839 the system of destroying anti-social elements like Amit Shah from 1997
3622.16 to 2002, and the new law that has been brought in Maharashtra
3628.48 , in the name of urban Naxals, in the name of MAWA, this will continue and will be unjust
3634.72 and will lead to dictatorship, and by arresting intellectuals and people
3641.52 like Umar Khalid, in the same way, if this thing keeps on increasing,
3647.04 then it will become more dangerous and this dangerous thing will lead to more destruction. This thing
3653.359 should not be forgotten. Otherwise, Ambedkar has not only
3658.4 given a warning at the end of his speech. He has also given a way. I mean, what was that way?
3663.52 He is suggesting this for freedom, equality and fraternity, brother. Okay?
3670.24 He gives it in many ways , freedom, equality and fraternity. There
3680.16 is democracy in the world.
3686.4 If there is no fraternity for democracy, then he has also set the other two. Of course we had to believe in
3692.4 this and what does brotherhood mean? A feeling of unity and unity of a nation and a society,
3700.4 to believe in a human being above caste, religion and language, not to believe in anyone who is inside or outside.
3710.88 Okay? And this thing that
3717.2 is today’s environment of hatred and polarization, as a bigger enemy than this, Dr. Ambedkar
3723.2 was pointing out or cautioning about this at that time. That’s why friends,
3730.96 what I want to request you people in the end is that the warning that Dr. Ambedkar
3737.76 had given in 1950, if we move away from the path of the Constitution, then India will break and
3745.68 is still on the verge of breaking. If devotion comes in politics, then dictator will also come.
3752.96 What does it mean? If devotion comes in politics, then this dictator will also come. If
3762.72 there is no social and economic equality, then political freedom will also be lost. But
3770.16 if we do not have social and economic equality, then political freedom will also be lost.
3778.799 We people have to keep this thing in mind. And in the end he also
3784.48 showed us this path that the path of brotherhood and humanity
3790.96 is the path of welfare of the people right now. Otherwise, if this constitution is also a friend, then the country India will break. This
3800.079 was a visionary speech of Dr. Ambedkar. Brother, that is
3808.799 why friends, if you join our new channel Critical Debate Channel
3816.559 as much as possible, subscribe, like, comment and share and
3822.96 make it reach every home. We are Dr. Ambedkar, Periyar Phule, this system of social justice.
3829.92 We
3837.039 will keep presenting it in front of you in an academic way and as per the dose of knowledge and this is our beginning, we will keep
3843.359 exposing every thing of Dr. Ambedkar, Periyar Phule and history, archeology, history and
3851.039 mythology, we will go ahead by exposing all these things,
3856.88 in this we have to play in the peace of social justice and everyone should
3863.599 rise above caste, religion and gender and strengthen this social justice peace and join so that we can all move forward and
3870.72 thank you, we will meet again, Namaste, bye bye
.
